From the brand

  2. Where It Began

In 1979, my parents opened their Los Angeles shop. I was three years old, and I grew up in the business.

  3. Rani Brand Authentic Indian

Since 1979, our family has brought the real spices, masalas and foods of India from our shop to kitchens worldwide. What began as one small Los Angeles storefront is now hundreds of products - whole and ground spices, curry and masala blends, rice, lentils, flours, chutneys, sauces and sweets. We still taste and choose every one of them ourselves, because it goes on our table too. Vegan, gluten friendly, non-GMO and Indian origin.

  4. Recipes We Grew Up With

From my mother's samosas to dals, sabzi and chutney, the food of our family became the heart of Rani.

  5. The Indian Pantry

Spices, masalas, rice, lentils, flours, chutneys and more - ingredients for everyday Indian cooking.

  6. How did we get our start?

In 1979, when I was three, my parents opened a first-of-its-kind grocery shop in Los Angeles. I grew up in that store and in this business.

Why do we love what we do?

The aromas of my mother's samosas, dals, sabzi and chutney shaped my childhood. Sharing those recipes and that love through Rani still inspires me.

    What makes our products unique?

Rani is built on our family's recipes, passion and experience, with Indian foods made for real cooking and shared with customers around the world.
